Bruce Heilman, 92, chancellor at the University of Richmond in Virginia told Campbellsville University graduates in his commencement address Saturday, May 12. "The most important day in an institution is commencement. This is one of those days you will always remember. My heart is full of thankfulness and humbled by your accomplishments. We are very proud of you," Dr. Michael V. Carter, in his 19th year as president, told 700 students, a record, in four ceremonies on May 11 and 12. Also, a record number of 1,013 students graduated during the 2017-18 academic year. Carter said Campbellsville University has also set a record enrollment of more than 10,000 students, and students graduating from CU have the lowest student debt of any public or private institution in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

On Saturday, August 27, the men's and women's archery teams at UC collaborated with Mountain Outreach on a construction project in the community.

As the fall semester kicked into gear, the archery teams at University of the Cumberlands (UC) took a break from their practice routines to serve the local community.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Archery Team had a great start to their indoor season on Saturday, shooting in the Inaugural Collegiate Indoor State Tournament in Ashland, Kentucky. Along with UC, there were five other schools represented; Union College, Midway University, Kentucky Christian University, Campbellsville University, and Eastern Kentucky University.

University of the Cumberlands welcomes class of 2019!

During UC's annual commencement ceremony on May 9th, 815 degrees were conferred. Two- hundred and thirty students earned an undergraduate degree and 585 students earned a graduate degree.

University of the Cumberlands (UC) is pleased to announce that 93 students have been named Christian Leadership Scholar honorees for the 2015-2016 school year. The amount of scholarships awarded totals approximately $208,000 in scholarships in their first year or $832,000 over four years. The amount of the scholarship varies for each student based on the extent of active leadership involvement.

University of the Cumberlands (UC) recently held the Physician Assistant (PA) program's hooding ceremony in the Gatliff Chapel on UC's campus.

University of the Cumberlands named students to the High Honor Roll during the 56th annual Honors Day program. These students have attained a minimum of 3.85 cumulative standing. Since UC only offers one undergraduate commencement ceremony, this list includes those students who finished their degree in December as well as those who will graduate in the May event.

University of the Cumberlands honored several outstanding students during its Annual Honors Day program. Among those recognized were students selected as members of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for 2014-2015.
